If you’ve been looking for nutrition courses in London, you’ll know there are plenty to choose from. Here’s why ours is different.
At The New School of Nutritional Medicine, we believe health is bigger than good nutrition alone. We’re raising 21st-century practitioners — people equipped for the realities of modern health, not just textbook cases.
Our 2-year Integrated Diploma teaches nutritional medicine alongside psychological coaching, because real, lasting change needs both biochemistry and behaviour. Body and mind. Science and heart.
As Hippocrates said, “Food is medicine.”
At its heart, nutrition is about nurturing the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. We see nutritional medicine not as “alternative” medicine, but as the original medicine.
Most nutrition courses teach the science of food and biochemistry. So do we — in real depth. But looking at health through a single lens is no longer enough for the realities of modern life. Knowing what to do and being able to do it are two different things. That’s why our diploma teaches three integrated modalities — nutritional medicine, psychological coaching, and Rapid Relief Homeopathy — each as a structured part of the curriculum. So our graduates can meet the messy, layered reality of real clients with the right tool at the right time.
It’s a heart-led, cutting-edge programme designed to redefine what 21st-century practitioners can be.
Nutrition forms around half of the curriculum across both years. We’ve built it around the topics that matter most to 21st-century health — the things real clients actually walk through your door with:
Alongside the science, you’ll learn how to apply it in real practice — taking case histories, building protocols, and supporting real clients. The psychological coaching module gives you the tools to work with the patterns, beliefs, and behaviours that shape how clients actually eat, move, and live.

The integrated nutrition course is taught over 20 weekends in two years, designed to fully prepare the student for a successful professional practice in nutritional medicine and psychological coaching.
Online low cost clinics (one day a month) are attended by all students in year 2.
Each teaching day is from 10am – 5.30pm. Recordings and lecture notes are provided. Limited online spaces are available for students residing overseas or 100-plus miles outside of London. BUT we require online live participation during teaching weekends. We believe in learning by participating, and community is indispensable.
Our students arrive from all sorts of starting points, but most fit one of three:
You don’t need a science background to apply.
The diploma is recognised by the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP), the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
Some of our graduates go on to launch their own practices. Others fold nutrition into existing health, coaching, or therapy work. We’ve even had students join just to learn for their own family’s wellbeing — and end up running a practice anyway, because they’ve grown so much in confidence they can’t help but share it.
That’s the difference between collecting knowledge and becoming a practitioner. We don’t just teach. We raise practitioners — and we know each one of them by name.
Our in-person teaching takes place at Regent’s University, Regent’s Park Inner Circle, London NW1 4NS — a beautiful, calm setting in the heart of central London.
The diploma is taught over 20 weekends across two years, with each teaching day running from 10am to 5.30pm. You’ll spend it with experienced practitioners and a real cohort — working through cases, learning to interpret functional tests, and practising the coaching skills you’ll use with clients. Lecture notes and recordings are shared after every weekend, so nothing is lost if you want to come back to something.
You’ll also run the School clinic — taking live, fully supervised cases one day a month, starting at the end of Year 1 and continuing throughout Year 2. Confidence and readiness are built by doing the work in real-life settings, not by ticking boxes.
Yes, with a few important conditions. We offer a limited number of online places, primarily for students based overseas or more than 100 miles from London. Wherever you study from, we ask you to be there live during teaching weekends — we don’t run the diploma as a self-paced or recorded-only course.
We’ve thought hard about this. What we’ve found, again and again, is that confident practitioners are made by participating, alongside a real cohort. Community is at the heart of how we teach, and that simply doesn’t translate to passively watching back recordings.

No. We don't believe in exams — we find they test short-term memory rather than lasting understanding. Instead, the diploma is built around continuous, case-based coursework that's directly relevant to real clinical practice.
A pure nutrition course teaches the science of food and how it shapes health — physiology, biochemistry, digestion, hormones, blood sugar, immune health, and personalised diet and lifestyle support. We teach all of that, in real depth. We also teach you that no single lens is enough for the realities of modern health. Our graduates leave qualified to practise nutrition, equipped to coach behaviour change, and trained in Rapid Relief Homeopathy as a third practitioner skill — three modalities they can integrate intelligently for the person in front of them.
