Envision a baby, he/she is confident, comes out the womb and ensures you know he/she has arrived earth side. There is no shyness, there is no ‘I am not good enough to be here, let me go back in’. Have you watched a newborn nudge it’s way up to his mother’s breast as soon as he/she is birthed?
That inner knowing, that is intuition, that is determination, that is self love, that is pure confidence, 'I am here and I am coming for my first earth-side feed'.
The confidence of that toddler waving to everyone as he/she passes them in the street. Where does that confidence go when we go for a job interview? Where does that confidence go when we apply for that course? Where does that confidence go when we see the assignment title? Where does that confidence go when we fear trying something new?
You were born confident and it is still there, it has just been 'masked’.

the stories we have told yourself
the lies that we have believed
the shaming by the science teacher
the bullying in the school playground
the ‘poor’ school grades
the dominating father
the ‘Do you think you are better than us?’ family attitude
But imagine if those ‘masks’ were removed, what would life be like?
